CLIMAX™ is a high-temperature heat shield formed of silica aerogel impregnated into a glass-fibre mat. The silica aerogel commands among the lowest thermal conductivity of any material. CLIMAX does not burn or char, yet is hydrophobic, breathable, flexible, washable, environmentally safe and easy-to-use.
The OutDry® patented construction process creates a one-piece waterproof breathable barrier, leaving no space between the membrane and the upper/outer shell for water to get in. OutDry® improves fit and dexterity, keeping you drier, lighter and more comfortable.
Alycore™ is comprised of micro denier iron and carbon-based proprietary Alycore™ threads, providing the ultimate protection against cuts, punctures and needle stabs, while still maintaining high dexterity and fluid palm flexibility.
C-Zip™ is a patent pending glove construction advancement that provides complete warmth and insulation while also allowing for full access to your hands, without the removal of the glove. A zipper runs across the top of the gloves, just behind the knuckles, so you can easily slip your hands out. C-Zip™ prevents glove loss, allows access to your electronics, ventilation on warmer days and quick interior drying.
